Man this guy certainly looks like he has been through a lot, and it looks like he is trying to still chase people off his lawn. A pretty detailed doodle that took to color very nicely!

Its actually a lot easier to get that detail in when I do the lines in pencil. Just a lot easier in general. I really dig doing it that way. Probably should do that more.
