catmonkshiro drew this depiction of how Aram's "becoming" might have happened. There's quite a long story behind it, but the short version is: she started out human, and then universes collided, and the alternate universe that had her as an emerald half dragon dominated the universe she was in, and so her soul melded with that one and became the Aram she is today.

Whew.

Some insect-like beings had captured Aram and cocooned her, imprisoning her for ransom. It was in this cocoon that the merger manifested. Good timing!

Apparently I'm WAY behind on posting catmonshiro pics, because every time I got a new one, it reset the timestamp on his folder, so when I sorted the folders by date to figure out who's been waiting the longest for a re-post, his name was always at the bottom (more recent). I'm fixing that now, so expect to see a lot of Shiro pics in the coming posts (probably not all tonight).
