Theres a fanclub you can join that is in support of a sequal, its not done by a random fan its by the guy that made the first game. you get a news letter and it talks about Shantae for the GBA DS and WiiWare

They were planning to put it on DS or WiiWare. But it's been in a LOOOOOOONG Process that everyone forgot.

The GBA previews look really nice.

I have her GBC game. The character animation drew me in, but I never finished it and I no longer have a system capable of playing it! Oh well. Hopefully the game's creator will find a way to revive her, perhaps on XBLA or something.
