Valentine's Day is a day of sweet flowers, delicious candy, and all kinds of love. It's a happy and beautiful day... but not for Gus. For him, it's a day of getting repeatedly tugged, squished, and bounced around by two big girls in constant competition for his appeal. As if it weren't lucky bad enough that several of the Giga Force gals take a liking to him one way or another, no other pair of girls approach him more often than Liz and Tannis.

Of course, Liz claimed Gus first, but Tannis has such a deep interest in the Breloom that it's scary, to the point where Gus finds it best to submit, lest the Meganium several times his size do something extreme. Liz doesn't really appreciate Tannis's constant stalking, and thus the two are in constant war over Gus.

Gus, meanwhile, is stuck (in more ways than one) between two choices: get clobbered by Liz, or get vine-wrapped by Tannis. D:

It's been a whole year since I last drew Tannis, and a whole two years for Liz, and coincidentally, they were both drawn on Valentine's Day.
