Mellisa’s thoughts; she had prepared this day, wanted it to be special. She had wanted everything to be perfect for their first valentines together. And what better way than a romantic lunch together.
‘This day has been so perfect.’ Alunis purred as Mellisa popped another rich liqueur chocolate in her mouth, the heart shaped tray resting on the table between them .
Mellisa grinned, slightly sheepishly, her worries fading. ‘You mean it?’
She had been so worried about that, wanting this day to be perfect. But she had never done anything like this. And she knew that she wanted too, to make it special for her mate. The little café had instantly caught her eye as soon as she had walked passed. Well, she had walked past it every day, but seeing it all decked out for Valentine’s Day had just made it seem..perfect. Even the name, Kitten’s Corner, had been perfect too. So she just had to book a table here.
‘I do.’ Alunis nods earnestly, running a paw over the pink table cloth, bringing it to rest on her paw. ‘And its all thank to you, my sweet sister.’
‘Well..I just thought you deserved something nice..a special treat..a..’ Mellisa muttered, stammering nervously until Alunis leaned in for a soft kiss.
‘It has been very special.’ Alunis purred, staying close as she broke she broke the kiss, resting her muzzle against the tigresses. ‘I love you so much sissy.’
Mellisa blushes at the use of that special nickname, smiling shyly. ‘Love you too sis.’

A little impromptu commission I got from my good friend As usual, it’s a wonderful piece of work and she had done justice to both me and my mate. I just love the way she does my ears.
My feelings are definitely true to the words above. I did want this day to be special for my sister. I know she hasn’t had great valentine’s Days recently and I thought she deserved one. As for me, I have never had a valentine’s Day to spend with anyone before and I’m so glad that I could spend it with my little sis.
