[Piano] Persona 3 FES - Aria of the Soul-Velvet Room (2006)
My god has it been a long time. I have been busy with a ton of things. Now, I have been working and playing around on my keyboards, but I had no way to post produce anything. Let me explain why: (Oh boy, here we go.)
The last time I was out of being able to use my post processing and editing software, it was because the battery on my laptop exploded and took the DC in board with it. THIS time was totally on Apple. A few months ago, I got the iPhone 6. In order for me to sync it with iTunes, I needed to update my OS X. I was using Snow Leopard and I loved it. I jumped to Yosemite which was the newest release. The install was fine and I was aware that some of my old PowerPC based programs would cease to work. I did not care as most of the software I needed was Universally compatible. I came to realize that it was a bunch of bullshit. Over half of my software (Examples: Logic Pro, Live, Switch File Converter, Sound Studio, Soundflower, and even good old Garageband) did not work. Some would open and crash when i tried to do anything.
With this issue, I needed to track down all of my user keys and install DMGs and re-install everything again. Some items still do not work and it cripples everything.
FUCK Yosemite. In addition to the software loss, it runs extremely Power Heavy!! Whatever is going on under the watch of Tim Cook needs to fucking stop as this version OS X is now reminding me a lot of Vista.
Equipment Used:
Alesis Q49 MIDI Controller (Hooked into Logic Pro)
Alesis Ion (Voice; Chorus filter)
On Stage KSP100 (sustain pedal)
Allen and Heath GL2400-24
MacBook Pro 17" (Recording; Post Processing (after many crashes!))
PowerBook G4 17" (Had to break this baby out again for Logic Pro to work)
Software Used:
Logic Pro
Sound Studio
