NFC conbadge for my sis, 
Hawkie, the redtailed hawk. <3 Egg shape is based on a redtail's egg, and her name is made of feathers (in blue, because she really likes blue). :) Once again, my scanner ate the colors (it looks much better IRL); I'm really hoping to get a new scanner soon. :P Badge is shown approximately actual size, and the hawk was referenced from a photo

Okay, sis. I have a story about this badge. So, I was going home from the guide dog school yesterday, and needed to preserve the badge somehow. Too precious to be tied to my bag, and too precious to be packed, so I wore it. Went to the airport (and was 30mins before the plane! O_o whew) and the check-in ladies found time to admire it a ton, asking about the artist, etc.
When I got off the plane in my city, it gathered the attention of the stewardesses and the assistance lady! She was speechless, and couldn't believe what she had just seen :) we were talking a lot about art, and about characters, and about why I was wearing it, the questions wouldn't stop! So, yes. Maybe a promotion strategy is to draw wearables and get people to do some advertising for you by travelling around the country and talking about it all? Haha! ♥
