2nd part of a sort of movie inspired group of art I will make displaying a shorter movie (story)
Its about 12 hours of work using photoshop (yeah getting faster)
the kanji signs:

Story behind it:
Scene 2 – Cry Of The Brave
Silver now arrived at the scene of the battle and his vision where filled with the sight of pillars of smoke and fire that scorched the land and the air around him.
He took two quick breaths just to get the scent of war into his mind making him focus and put aside his feelings and emotions as he took from a fallen allied his personal shield generator. Silver attached it over his right arm as it was meant to be and its soft glowing energy shield emerged nearly instantly as it connected with his armour.
He looked up over the field as the rain started to fall.
It was warm thanks to all the fire and smoke that was sent into the sky from the raging battle and as it touched the cold frost bound ground did mist start to emerge creating a damp milky sheet by the level of the grass.
He could hear the commander giving orders in his com-link and he realized it was time.
Time to full fill his duty for his Empress as he now slowly let the helmet slide on from behind shielding him a bit from the grim reality bringing a calm feeling to his heart as he knew what to do now, he knew exactly how much he could take and how much he could give back to the enemy.
His visor started to blink revealing how the enemy where closing in on his position as he by instinct pulled out his sword Awarus with his left paw and let the enemy get close enough so they opened fire upon him. The burning lasers flew like angry wasps through the air around Silver as he now took his first determined step forward and started to sprint with only one single sentence in his mind…
For the Empress and the eternal light…
The cry of the brave…

The enemy is gonna be screwed now that the sword is out. And with a shield that will be even a bigger slaughter ^.=.^
Another excellent piece Silver. Everything is beautiful with all the details and the time spent is worth it. The rain, light beams, even the reflected lazer off the shield with some energy dispersion from the shield. Well thought out and completed.

Oh gawd I see I've been missing out here! VERY well done! it's always nice to blend mytholgy and fantasy into Sci-fi It makes it all so much more interesting. You've gotten me hooked here and I'd be watching you for this peice alone. I also like the short story you put in on the artist comment so you know what's going on. Man now I'm inspired to write something about this...But that's probably not too interesting so I'll close this down now. Keep it up you're doing a fine job indeed!

Yes as I am a writer and as such I don't do these short comments but try to get as much as possible down into them. Hence they get a bit long... still I'm interested in writing a sci-fi/fantasy story but never done it before...and if you rush off to check out my stuff I have to tell you (to save my reputation in your eeys mostly) that they were written quite some time ago and needs to be re-writen in my newer style and more experienced mind.
I say this alot but hey might as well say it again: There's no need to thank me for liking your stuff. I'm the one who should thank YOU for posting it up for ME to enjoy :)

Oh damn you now I've gotten a storyline in my head about your fursoan and I cannot get it out! ...Oh man I guess what I'll be doing after I finish my current story's been decided...

Well if I know myself right (and I hope I do :P ) I'll have a base storyline done by either tomorrow or the day after that. What I'll need is background info of the world in general, if you want anyone else in the story as well save yourself, and possibly some other thing you want to go in.
I don't know which is the wierdest...that they could've advanced even more OR the fact that old target drones somehow becomes Coffee mashines...

Ahh, this is known as a DEW line: Directed Energy Weapon line - the effect of a high-powered energy weapon to cause the atmosphere around it to flouresce as the displaced atoms, pushed to a higher energy state by the passage of the beam through them, revert to their ground state, releasing their energy they absorbed as light.
And yeah, it DOES make for one hell of a picture.
By the way, I ADORE your Kitsune Power Armor. It's VERY sweet. If I come across sometimes as critical, it's because I'm like that on things I REALLY like, and I REALLY like your work. ^_^

Glad I can help. Just to inform you, the DEW Line effect is common to particle weapons and lasers, but not to railguns/coilguns firing at less than fractional c, (fractional of lightspeed).
I have an adoration of "hard" sci-fi, meaning science fiction where the physics are fairly close to reality, as opposed to the more far-flung concepts. Thus, I tend to critique from that standpoint. If you ever want some technology "fluff text", ie a plausible explanation for some piece of tech, feel free to ask, and I'll do my best.
