The PCA was the foremost battle academy in Kanto and one of the most foremost of these academies in the world, because of that it attracted students from all over the world… a surprisingly large amount of which were as weird as they were talented. The student body and teachers got used to seeing, or at least got used to ignoring, seeing things on a regular basis that you’d never see at a normal high school. Several students were seeing another one of these strange things right now as the tiled halls echoed with the sound of two sets of hoof beatss along with the sound of the other students… and the shrill sound of what had to be a prepubescent girl’s voice.
The first of the two sets of hoof beats was a familiar face for a good deal of the PCA since the sophomore miltank had been at the school for three years and was prone to making friends. Those that didn’t know her personally had probably heard about her in rumors, being the coach/nanny of the much talked about freshmen group Team Pre-K. Maddie was her name, a plus size miltank blessed with a hefty girth (aka she was huggably fat), a nice figure despite her girth, and an amazing amount of patience gained from working with toddlers and children for most of her life. An amazing amount of patience that was now being sorely tested by the second set of hoof beats and the source of the voice, a young girl wearing a strange hat who was doing her best to keep up with Maddie and keep her attention.
The hat in question was a newsboy cap with a pair of small plushie bouffalant horns sewn onto it for whatever reason. It was currently resting atop the head of a positively petite looking miltank girl who was lacking both in the bosom and curves department. Making the fact that Maddie, a miltank a good foot and a half taller than her and three times as wide, seemed to be trying to outpace and get away from the tiny girl almost comical. Maddie was also sporting the look universally seen on any adult who had to deal with a little kid who’d just learned the marvelous question of “Why?” and was stuck on repeat with it…
“Please coach me big sis!”
“No.”
“Please coach me big sis!”
“I can’t.”
“Please coach me big sis!”
“Please stop repeating that.”
The smaller cow seemed to be stuck on the same loop. Maddie groaned as she finally stopped her brisk pace, sighing a little as she felt the smaller cow collide with her large posterior and bounce backwards onto the floor. Turning around Maddie offered the younger girl a hand up “Melody, we’ve been over this. Right now I have my hands full coaching Pre-K so I can’t coach you as well.” She said, trying to sound gently and understanding even as she watched the smaller girl’s face screw up into a cute pout. “But, but, but…!” Melody babbled, one hand taking Maddie’s offered one and the other trying to fix her hat (which had been knocked askew by the fall).
“But I could be so much better than them!” she finally protested, making Maddie fight not to make a face even as she pulled Melody to her feet “Pleeeeeeeease! I’ve seen how tough you made those little kids! I’m way stronger than them already so imagine how strong I’ll be with your help!” she whined, hopping in place and making her short skirt bounce a little even as Maddie groaned and rubbed her temples in frustration. She didn’t know which point to address first… telling Melody not to insult Pre-k, telling her that they weren’t little kids, or telling her that she couldn’t take all the credit for how strong the team had gotten since Pre-K had just needed some motivation to help themselves as she saw it…
“Pleeeeeeeeeease! I saw your old fights in the school archives!” Melody begged, Maddie groaning again remembering the fact some of her arena matches had been recorded during her stay at the school, as the smaller miltank made begging puppy dog eyes up to her “Teach me how to be as tough as you! I wanna fight like that!” she pleaded once more. “… Melody, I couldn’t teach you how to fight like that even if I did have an opening…” Maddie said, talking slowly since Melody had shown she tended to refuse to listen “Those matches… they were all just instinct. I just did what I thought was best with the moves I had… I couldn’t teach that even if I wanted to…” she trailed off since years of experience handling children had taught her how to recognize when one of them wasn’t listening to a word you were saying… which was the case right now.
“I’m sure you could teach me that stuff!” Melody started to beg as Maddie just sighed and resumed walking away, having realizing any attempt at rational discussion was lost here “Pleeeeeeeease! Pretty please! Pleeeeeease!” The smaller cow started to beg again, though Maddie had heard this word from her enough it was starting to lose all meaning. “I already told you, I can’t right now.” Maddie said, not bothering to look at the smaller girl trying to keep pace. Before she could continue Melody cut her off “But maybe later? You’ll promise to coach me later right? Pleeeeeease big sis?” the girl begged as Maddie just rolled her eyes, not willing to promise what she didn’t want to deliver even if it WOULD make Melody stop bothering her.
“Melody, I’m not promising you that. Now please stop bothering me with this. This is the third time this week you’ve starting asking like this.”
“Pleeeeeeeeeeeease!”
“I already told you-”
“Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!”
“But-“
“Pretty, pretty pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease!”
Maddie rolled her eyes and found herself wishing she’d brought the stock of pacifiers she uses when she babysits (and occasionally for Pre-K) with her as she groaned “Stop that before you pass out on the floor.”

“So this really little looking miltank girl in a funny hat showed up and Maddie left in a big hurry?” Petie asked, scratching his head in confusion at Jules’s story. The teddiursa was still in the hallway where he and Rose had found Jules being bullied earlier as the roilu was filling them in on what’d happen after he’d left the team meeting. Jules just nodded as Petie shrugged, chalking it up to more weird PCA stuff like the two pig brother’s they’d just met, Ray… well… to be honest most of the new people he’d met today fell in that category. Either way the teddiursa was curious about what had happened to his last two members since it sounded like even if Grace hadn’t show up…
“It sounds like your team meeting would have fallen apart even if I hadn’t arrived.”
Petie nearly jumped out of his diaper as the hariyama in question suddenly spoke up. She’d been stealthy again and slipped her way in next to Rose. “So, that was three of your teammates and your coach…” Grace said, the hariyama having apparently been listening in on what they’d been talking about or at least most of it “What about the remaining two? The… er… um…. I actually never did get introductions…” she said, blushing as she apparently realized she didn’t have a clue who was who outside of Maddie “Who are the last two?” Grace asked, blushing. Rose spoke up before either of the actual members of Pre-K could, though Jules did look pouty he didn’t get to answer “Andrew the pichu and their new gothita member… er… Tabitha, right?” the kangaskhan asked while looking to her baby brother, apparently not confident she remembered the new girls name.
Which wasn’t surprising since Petie was pretty sure Rose hadn’t met Tabitha yet “Yeah, Tabitha.” He said as he opted to ignore Grace looking to Rose and asking her for clarification on the other member’s names. Instead he looked to Jules “So? What about them?” he asked, as Jules opted to pout a few moments more before answering. “Andrew said he was going to show Tabitha around the school since she was still having trouble getting lost.” The riolu said, shrugging despite the usual innocent smile on his face “Something about his responsibility as the team leader or something like that… kinda left to try and go see Rose’s match before he finished so I didn’t hear all of it.”
“Yep, sounds like Andrew… and you…”

“This place is so… big…”
“Chuuu… y-you get used to it over time…”
“… do you also get used to other students stopping to ask if you’re lost children as well?”
“…………. Chuuuuuuuuuuuuu… g-got used t-to that a l-long time ago….”
The two tiny mon walked down the hall, soft paws padding along and little shoes clicking in step, as Andrew showed Tabitha around the school… particularly the main by-ways of the school’s confusing hallway system. Andrew remembered what little Tabitha had told them about her past and her being incredibly sheltered… if you count spending most of your life locked in a large mansion sheltered, so he was trying to help her adapt to the new surroundings as best he could. It was his duty as team captain and, hopefully, as one of her friends… sides… wasn’t the first time he’d had to do this. It was going much, much better than his few attempts at helping Sammi when she first came to the PCA did though, no insults or violence yet…
“It’s DISGUSTING!”
Both of the tiny teens jumped in surprise at the sudden shouting, as did the few other people in the hall. Though to Andrew’s surprise most of the other students opted to just go on their ways, some more quickly than they’d been moving before, as opposed to seeing what was happening. From experience he’d expect there to be at least one or two people curious about what was going on… but the hall had emptied save for him, Tabitha, and a scolipede girl down at the far end of the hall who seemed more interested in the bulletin board then what was going on.
“Wanna try that again cuz? Don’t think the folks all the way in the dorms heard you.”
This time it was a deep but musical female voice as opposed to the deep but harsh male voice from earlier. Andrew’s large ears swish and twitch at the sounds as he stood there, debating whether to be the curious on-looker or do what was probably the smart thing and just keep walking. “Hey!” Tabitha whispered, having to dodge one of Andrew’s giant ears as it flicked due to standing right next to him and due to being a few inches taller then Andrew placing her in the swing zone. “Chuuuuuu….” Andrew mumbled, blushing in embarrassment, as he stepped away to avoid accidentally hitting her… and ended up stepping right into the open of the T intersection connection the hall to another one.
Freezing like a sawsbuck in the headlights (or his cousin in front of large crowds) Andrew let out a weak “Chu…” as he looked down the hall. He found himself looking at four frog mon. There was a tall, muscular (even for his species), and furious looking poliwrath guy dressed ruggedly. Across from him stood a big, round (in several senses) looking seismitoad girl with a big smile on her broad face who was dressed casually. Between the two of them there was a tall, very, very well proportioned and attractive, but also confused, looking greninja girl in a tight fitting outfit that both covered and left little to the imagination. Lastly a croagunk guy who looked positively tiny and normal compared to the other three, due to being normal sized, a bit lanky, and wearing fairly normal clothing, stood off to the side looking away from the group. Suddenly something grabbed Andrew…
As Tabitha yanked him back around the corner out of sight. “If you’re going to eavesdrop at least do it right!” she hissed quietly to him… before bending over and peeking around the corner herself “… who are they?” she asked as Andrew just shrugged and tried to peek around the gothita “Chuuuu… d-dunno…” he whispered back. The poliwrath huffed, his huge shoulders heaving as he looked a few steps away from hurting someone “I’m not in the mood for your sarcasm Bea” he said, addressing the seismitoad “her little performance in that arena was a disgrace.” There was a moment of silence before the geninja spoke up, her voice slightly accented as she spoke.
“I did not think the fight was that bad…”
“Naaaaaaaa, he’s not talking about the fight Neoma.” The seismitoad, Bea or whatever her name is, cut in waving her hand dismissively… making the ninja frog just look more confused. “If she wanted to perform like it was some kind of circus she should do it in a contest hall! Not a fighting arena!” the wrath ranted, stomping his foot for emphasis “And what kind of warrior dresses like that!? The arena is a place for honorable combat, not flashiness and exposing yourself!” he added as the greninja, Neoma according to the toad, just tilted her head in confusion. Andrew also noticed the croagunk doing his hardest to look away and hide a growing blush as the wrath talked about… um… the outfit of whoever had upset him so badly.
“Keith thinks Rose’s little performance at the start of the match was undignified for a fighter.” Bea said, apparently being the one to translate her cousin’s, if Andrew recalled right she’d called him her cousin but that could be slang, ranting. “Also what’s wrong with what she wore~?” the toad asked, her grin shifting a little towards one Andrew had when people were ogling his cousin “Khan has some nice curves on a niiiiiice frame~ Let her show if off if she wants… sides Neoma’s outfits show off just as much~” she added, the greninja girl eeping as the broader built toad pulled her into a hug “T-thank you?” Neoma stuttered, missing the grin on Bea’s face.
“Leave your love life and perversion out of this please.” The poliwrath said, his tone flat as Jane’s and annoyed which probably meant this was a common occurrence. “Psssst!” Tabitha hissed to him, making Andrew snap out of his focused state to look at her “Isn’t Rose the name of Petie’s big sister? And isn’t she a kangaskhan?” the gothita asked as a look of surprised crossed Andrew’s face. He’d been so focused on listening in he’d completely missed that! “… I’ll take that as a yes…” Tabitha said, looking back at the frogs as Andrew let out a soft “Chuuuuuuuuu” and did so as well, hoping they didn’t miss too much. This had gone from just curiosity to something involving his friend… er… sorta…
“-s different from Neoma.” The poliwrath said firmly, Andrew having apparently missed the first part of what he’d been saying “She doesn’t show off or prance around like a show poodle like that kangaskhan, she focuses on fighting her opponent. She lets her skill and ability speak for her rather than resorting to contest like spectacle and costumes.” The burly water type explained… which made Andrew fidget rather uncomfortably. The whole thing sounded a bit too much like when his relatives on his dad’s side of the family talked about honor, tradition, and why his dad should be fighting like they say he should or how Jane should follow the family’s code and that sort of stuff… though he wasn’t sure whether he should be insulted or not they didn’t pester him about that. Either way the poliwrath’s speech was touching too close to that for him…
Bea just rolled her eyes though “Yeah yeah, heard you rant about it all before Keith~” she said, her tone dismissive as she finally released Neoma from the hug, the greninja just looking more confused than ever, to make an over-exaggerated shrugging gesture “So cuz, what are you gonna do about it other than run off at the mouth?” she asked. There was a sudden dull thudding sound that made Andrew wince as Keithed punched a tightly clenched fist into his open palm menacingly… before sighing “WOULD challenge her to a battle to show her how it’s done, but can’t.” he grumbled, turning to walk off down the hall “And before you make some smart remark about it Beatrice” he said, glancing over his shoulder at the seismitoad and applying extra inflection on what (Andrew assumed anyway) was her full name “it’s because I don’t like unfair fights, nothing else.”
“Riiiiiiiiight, Mr. fighting move specialist feels guilty whenever he fights somebody weak to those~” Bea giggled, rolling her eyes again before following after the broad shouldered frog. The croagunk, who Andrew had honestly almost forgotten about with how quiet he’d been, made a weak “Croooooo” sound as his orange cheeks expanded slightly. He was nervously looking between his the two leaving frogs and Neoma who was still standing there before timidly following the other two, constantly shooting glances back over his shoulder to the Greninja. Meanwhile Neoma was… looking right at him and Tabitha Andrew finally realized as he felt his face pale a little in panic.
Both stood there, terrified they were about to get in trouble for eavesdropping, as the greninja girl… walked over to them and kneeled down to their level, a friendly, almostly motherly smile on her face. “Hello little ones.” Neoma said her voice sweet and slightly cooing as she patting their heads “Are you two lost? I can assist you in finding your parents.” She offered, as Andrew blushed furiously and let out a soft “Chuuuuu…” before glancing over to see Tabitha was just as embarrassed by this as the gothita stuck her lips out in a little pout and blushed while casting her eyes down.
If Neoma registered their embarrassment though she didn’t show it as she started talking again “Now why in the world are you-“ she started asking before pausing mid-sentence. Andrew blinked and glanced up to find the greninja girl was glancing at something on the wall behind them thoughtfully. Her face suddenly lit up as she smiled “Ah of course. Would be possible for them to be like that one who's body does not resemble his age? A near perfect guise.” She said, nodding with a happy smile on her face… as Andrew just stared at her blankly before sharing a glance with Tabitha, apparently neither of them had a clue what she just said.
“Oh, despite appearances those two are students here~” a new voice said, sounding deep, mellow, and waaaaaay above them as Andrew’s ears twitch to the sound of heavy clicking that sounded almost like a ponyta’s hoofbeats on the tile. He could feel Tabitha turning around at the same time he did as they both looked up to see who was coming up behind them… and promptly found their view blocked out by a bosom of monstrous size as a mountain like shadow fell over them. Andrew stumbled back and fell on his butt as he tried to crane his head backwards to see who or what this person was, judging by the clacking of shoes and the thud sound next to him Tabitha had done the same.
The giant figure stepped back a little, letting them see past her bosom to reveal it was the largest scolipede girl Andrew had ever seen (as the pichu briefly recalled he had seen one down the hall earlier). Her entire build was thick and somewhere between muscular and chubby… though it was a hard call to make since she had four arms and was a quadruped giving her a rather unusual body build. She was dressed in an almost Greek or Roman styled toga outfit that form a sleeveless top that gave her extra pair of arms room while also hugging her HUGE bosom snuggly before tapering down into a dress like wrap covering her massive lower body. Her face also had a plump, almost maternal roundness to it as she looked down at them, an amused smile on her plump lips (which left Andrew wondering if bug types were supposed to have those) as her long antenna twitched slightly.
Andrew squeaked as he felt someone place a hand on his shoulder and pull him backwards a little protectively. Looking backwards he found it was Neoma, who was looking up at the bug with an almost unreadable expression on her face… though thanks to growing up with Jane he could tell the ninja frog wasn’t sure what to make of this intruder. “Neoma, was it?” the big bug asked, smiling down at them in a friendly, disarming manner “don’t worry about the little ones here, I’ll help them get to where they should be~” she said, her tone nothing but kind and friendly… enough so that it took Andrew a minute to realize she was pretty much talking about Tabitha and him like they were wayward pre-schoolers.
Glancing back at Neoma Andrew let out a weak “Chuuuuu…” as he noticed her brow was slightly furrowed as she spoke up “Oh, that might not be necessary.” She said, her tone was friendly but obviously measured as it looked like she wasn’t taken in by how friendly the scolipede was trying to be. “Hey! Neoma! What’s the hold up!” someone called from down the hall as it took Andrew a minute to realize it was Bea, Neoma’s seismitoad friend. "Don't worry, I'll keep them safe from any bullies who might want to bother them.” The scolipede said, trying to sound reassuring… though Andrew got the feeling the bug was able to tell Neoma didn’t trust her “You have my word as an older sister." She added, place a hand to her chest as if taking an oath.
Neoma just stayed where she was, looking at the scolipede with her furrowed brow, till Bea called her again from down the hall mentioning something about Keith wanting to do a team practice. Andrew idly realized that the four frogs must be a team as Neoma softly stroked his head in a reassuring, but kinda demeaning way before getting up and leaving. Andrew watched her go as the greninja kept her eyes on the scolipede for as long as she could before turning and head to join her team. Looking back at the bug he saw her watching Neoma go and waving, her warm friendly smile shirting a little to one of curiosity as the frog finally took her eyes off the bug. “Please pardon my language but what the heck was THAT all about?” Tabitha suddenly said, snapping Andrew out of the slight daze the unusual situation had put him in.
“Also… just WHO are you?” the gothita demanded, getting back up onto her feet and brushing her skirt out as Andrew timidly got up as well. “Oh! My apologies for not introducing myself earlier~” the bug said, bending down a little to make it easier for them since she couldn’t kneel like Neoma had done “My name is Mamta Pilahona, but most of my friends and my team call me Big Mam~” she explained, Andrew’s ears twitching as he picked up the slightest him of the cooing most adults use when they’re talking to little kids on the edge of Mam’s voice “Now unless I’m mistaken you two would be members of the much talked about freshmen team, team Pre-K~ The adorable leader and the mysterious new team member if the rumor mill has its facts straight~” she added, Andrew’s ears dropping as the pichu blushed in embarrassed at being known by a stranger… looking over he found Tabitha was blushing too as she fidgeted at being referred to as the “Mysterious new team member”
“By your blushing I take it I’m right~” Mam said, stifling an amused giggle “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you~ It’s rather unusual to see a freshmen team getting so much publicity… but from what I’ve heard and see you’re an unusual team.” She added, smiling warmly “Would love to chat more but I think you two were going somewhere before you stopped to eavesdrop, so I’ll leave you to that~” the scolipede said off handedly, turning and clopping down the hall before stopping to glance back at them, particularly at Andrew, making him squeak a little as she spoke “And little pichu leader? I know you have plenty of folks who probably already offered but if you want to talk to somebody about leading a team or to get any advice just ask around for Big Mam of Team Goliath~ You two take care~” and with that she turned and resumed walking, vanishing out of sight surprisingly fast for somebody almost as big as the pichu’s giant snorlax father.
Leaving the two tiny teens alone again in the hall as Andrew let out a long sigh, his ears twitched as he heard Tabitha open her mouth, but he had a good guess what she was about to say so he cut her off “Chuuuuuuuuuuu… n-no T-tabitha… t-that doesn’t h-happen normally…” he said, hearing the gothita close her mouth. Rubbing his cheeks, which were burning after all that blushing, the pichu looked around listlessly… and spied a familiar poster on the wall. It was for Petie and Rose’s doubles team, Nanny & Teddy-Chan… that must had been what Neoma saw to provoke that garbled string of sentences. Though he still wasn’t sure what she’d said. A moment later Tabitha spoke up “Fine, but answer me honestly… are things ever NORMAL with your team?” she asked, before stuttering “Er… w-well… n-not that I really have much basis to judge weird and normal but… should I get used to this kind of stuff?” she finally asked, sighing and blushing more as she looked to Andrew. The pichu stared back for a moment as he tried to figure out how to word this tactfully…
“Chuuu…... y-yeah, t-this is kinda how the P-PCA normally i-is…”
“I was afraid you’d say that……”
*********************
“Ah well, doubt any things happening with them.” Petie said, shrugging… as his world suddenly went black making him squeak and flail. A moment later he realized Grace was rubbing his head with one of her massive hands as he heard the hariyama say “Looks like your team meeting would have gotten interrupted even if I didn’t drop in~” in an amused and slightly relieved tone. Though the teddiursa wasn’t sure if she’d still felt guilty about that and now felt better or what. Luckily Rose cut in by gently slipping her hands around Petie and lifting him into her arms, followed shortly after by Jules. Judging by Grace’s smile she recognized official (and in Jules’s case honorary) big sister rights to get to be the one to snuggle the cute baby siblings.
“So… the Emboar was a member of your team?” Rose asked, apparently trying to further change the subject as she snuggled the boys lightly. “Oh, right. I hadn’t told you yet.” Grace said, smiling as she chuckled a little sounding embarrassed “Ray’s trying to put together a team so Ichiro’s not a member yet… but he’s agreed to join if we can get a 4th member though!” the hariyama said cheerfully before rubbing her head a little and looking away as if embarrassed “Had to have a match with him before he agreed though…” her tone was rather regretful as if that bothered her… though Petie didn’t know enough about the giant fighting type to have any why.
“Did you win?” Jules piped up, innocent and curious as always which earned him another head enveloping head rub from Grace as she nodded “Yes, but it was a close match. I just barely won thanks to recovery moves.” She explained her tone still slightly uneasy as if she didn’t like the subject. “So… there any other possible members of your team, Heavy Weights right?” Rose asked, again trying to salvage the conversation… which was sinking fine without any input from him as far as Petie was concerned. “Heavy Weight actually, took me a while to leave off the s too.” Grace replied, noticeably perking up as she smiled “And so far the only confirmed members are me, Ray, and Ichiro… though we’ve got a few potential ones. Ray does most of the scouting to be honest but I’ve met a few of them like with Maddie… mostly to apologize for Ray bugging them~” she added with a laugh.
“Lets see…” Grace continued, starting to tally things off on her massive hands “Besides Maddie there’s the purugly you fought earlier Esther, Ray mentioned a sealeo he’d asked but the guy was already part of a team, Ray’s mentioned this giant wailord girl who’s been bouncing around campus he was considering asking” Rose and Petie exchanged nervous glances at that, hoping she didn’t mean Lum “there was this friendly simisear boy named Malcolm but he said he owed first team dibs to his friend, a rather chubby slurpuff boy… so Ray asked them both to join. They both said no but Ray still chats with them from time to time. The Slurpuff’s aunt owns a rather nice bakery Ray likes to visit too.” Grace said, rambling off topic a bit.
“The whipped dream bakery, right?” Rose spoke up, smiling “Momma likes to go there, apparently she’s been taking Petie there since they first moved to viridian~” the kangaskhan added, nuzzling her baby brother’s head as Petie whined and blushed, having been happier when he WASN’T part of this discussion. “That’s the one~” Grace said, clapping her hands lightly as she smiled “It’s a little out of the way since I stay at the dorms, but I try to stop by when I get the chance… if only to see the cute little baby girl they have there~” she added with a giggle as Petie smiled “You mean Emily?” he piped up, knowing the baby swirlix daughter of the slurpuff owner quite well… she might be almost a year older than his baby sisters but the three still liked to play together and Petie enjoyed chaperoning those playdates.
“Somebody mention my little cousin~?” a very bubbly, slightly accented, and to Petie’s ears familiar, male voice rang out making everybody turn to look down the hall behind them. There was a familiar slurpuff guy approaching them. His massively protruding belly barely restrained in his striped shirt jiggled with his every step and there was a broad smile with a little hint of his tongue stuck out in the corner across his face. “Hey Rose, hey Petie, hey Jules, hey Grace~” he chirped in order as he walked through the small group… much smaller than the massive girls but still big enough the two little ones looked like children next to him. “Benny?” Rose asked in shock as she watched the slurpuff casually pass by them “What are you doing here!?”
“Cause my lockers here.” He replied with a laugh as if the question was silly as he spun the combination lock on one of the lockers against the wall and popped it open. There was a moment of silence as the girls and the little boys contemplated the coincidences that’d be needed for this to happen, all the while Benny unloaded things from the backpack he was carrying into the locker completely oblivious to them. “So, why you talking bout my aunts bakery and my little cousin~?” he asked, finishing what he was doing and shutting the locker door before shouldering his backpack. Before they could answer he seemed to skip forward faster than a mon of his girth should have been able to, stopping suddenly in front of Rose to playfully tickle Petie and Jules’s chins and make them giggle even as Petie tried to bat the slurpuff’s chubby paw away.
“Oh, just making conversation is all.” Grace said, putting one giant hand to her mouth to keep from giggling at the sight of Benny treating the boys like toddlers “How is Emily? Still a little bundle of joy?” she asked, which finally got Benny to stop tickling the boy’s chins as he looked up to Grace and grinned. “Yep! She’s energetic as always and if my aunt doesn’t keep ahold on her or keep her in the playpen she’d go up and greet every customer personally~” he bragged, apparently quite proud of this, before grinning and patting Petie’s head in an adorably demeaning way “Course, having little Petie and his sisters here come over to playdate also keeps her busy~” Benny added, sounding like a proud big brother talking about his little sis and her baby friends as Petie blushed all the way to his eartips.
“D’aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw~ That sounds precious! I didn’t know you two had little sisters!” Grace gushed “Are they as cute as little Petie here~?” she asked, playfully tickling Petie’s cheek. Now normally the teddiursa would LOVE to brag about his baby sisters since he was very proud of the twins… normally also didn’t include a giant fighting type and walking dessert talking down to him. He blushed furiously and curled up a bit in Rose’s arms, trying to hide himself “Yep! They’re twins!” Jules chirped, unaware of his best friend cowering in Rose’s other arm “And they’ve got snowy white fur too! … Petie? You okay?” he asked, finally noticing Petie’s hiding attempts as Rose hugged them both close and stepped up to help “I’ll be happy to show you some photos another time Grace, but I think I should be getting Petie and Jules home.” She explained, smiling apologetically to the giant girl as Grace tilted her head a little in confusion.
“Does he need a… you know…” she asked, trailing off in an obvious attempt to preserve Petie’s dignity (or what left of it there was) when Benn spoke up with the social grace of Jules on a sugar rush and blurted out “A change? Cause there’s a bathroom right overMMPH!” he was cut off as Grace clamped one of her huge hands around his head (technically his mouth, but the rest of the head got caught too) and gave him a stern look. “Noooooo, no, no no!” Rose quickly assured them while Petie hid his face in her in shame at Benny’s statement “He’s fine! Really! He’s just had a long day is all.” She explained, the teddiursa looking up to see her expression… which was the same one she always wore when she spun half-lies to cover for him “He… probably has some homework to do as well, I’m sure Jules does too! So I best get them home since he’s getting a bit fussy.”
“When my baby sis or Emily gets fussy” Benny said, the rest of the group doing a double take as they realized he somehow slipped free of Grace’s grip and was now on the other side of her without them having noticed “putting them down for a nap ALWAYS does the trick~!” he said, nodding with confidence as he gave a big, helpful grin. “Riiiiight… I’ll consider it…” Rose said, apparently just agreeing to make things move along “Anyway it was great to meet you Grace and it was nice to see you again Benny.” She said while nodding to them as Grace smile back “Likewise Rose… oh and don’t forget, you promised to show me pictures of Petie’s little sisters sometime~ Anyway see all of you later~” she added, giving Petie and Jules’s head a gentle and affectionate rub before heading down the hall.
“And hope to see you at the bakery sometime soon~ I know Emily misses her ‘eddy~” Benny said with a chuckle, imitating his little cousin’s word for Petie as he tickled the boy’s chin one last time before heading on his way. Rose watched them go for a few minutes before gently nuzzling Petie’s head “You okay baby bro?” she asked gently as Petie whimpered, cheeks still bright red “I’m otay… dat was just embarrassing!” he whined, sounding like the kindergartner he looked. Rose just chuckled as she started walking down the hall “I know, anyway lets swing by you and Jules’s lockers, get your stuff, and head home~” the kangaskhan said, used to her baby brother’s adverse reaction to humiliation.
“Cheer up Petie~” Jules chirped, setting into Rose’s arms to enjoy the ride as he smiled to his best friend “I thought Grace was nice~” he added… which didn’t mean much since Jules thought most of the school’s population was nice. Petie just rolled his eyes and kept sulking, mumbling about being embarrassed by all that. “You know” Rose spoke up after a few minutes of this “maybe Benny was onto something with that nap idea.” She teased playfully as Petie’s jaw dropped in protest “Or would you rather ride in the pouch on the rest of the way home~” she added before he could start.
“Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!”
“Didn’t think so~”
The End.

PCA – Heavy Weight Meetings
Part 2
*****************************
“Yep, sounds like Andrew… and you…”
**************************
“Didn’t think so~”
The End.
