Information on Puplinks

First off, Puplinks are canine-like creatures that roam the lands, searching for their purpose. They are recognized by their three eyes and collars with floating links. These links are used for their survival by coming in handy to any difficult situation such as picking, climbing, and as distractions when confronted by enemies.

The first of their species were the Zodiac Puplinks aka the Zodilinks. The Zodilinks were known for keeping order among the mortal Puplinks and protecting them from humans and those they considered enemies. These Zodilinks were divided into each section of the world, four in the North, four in the South, four in the East, and four in the West. They come together once every Solstice to converse and discuss the events in their sectors as well as thinking of new ways to help their fellow Puplinks.

But that all changed when the Death God Puplink, Hokori, tricked a Puplink into associating with humans. This led to controversy and a major trial held by the Gods of the Puplinks. After long grueling hours, the Gods have decided to do a trial on letting five lone Puplinks associate with humans to see if they're able live together peacefully. Hokori, the Death God Puplink, was soon banished from the lands of the Puplinks after soon being discovered for the treachery he committed since he was the first to associate with humans.

This Puplink is an Elite. Elites are one of the highest ranking Puplinks and are known for their water-like features. They are commonly known as Waterbellies due to their water belly and tail. They are said to be descendants of the Capricorn Puplink and are known to maintain order amongst their fellow Puplinks.

Elites are socialites and are usually seen with each other unlike Gentries. If there are a large number of Elites in one area, they can make up a puddle, a pond, or even a lake! They usually lay on their back since they find it more comfortable when laying on the ground, and from a human's viewpoint, they are a water and nothing else. This is used as an escape tactic as they slide on their backs away to safety.

The differences between a male and female Waterbelly are their hairs. Female Elites have natural hair that differ from natural to unnatural hues. Males however have water 'hair'. Their water hair is actually an extension of their waterbellies due to the excess amount that Elites produce. The reason it is for males is because during mating season, they use their 'hair' and tail to attract female Elites to mate with. But since the male-female ratio is 1:3, male Elites tend to have more than one mate, and since their socialites, there are usually no conflicts within the polygamist relationship.
