I don't remember that time because I've never seen Brother Bear. It shows, because I've drawn Tug as a Brown Bear when he's actually a Black Bear... o.o He is very fat, from the references I've used. All that bear~ :D
Realistic approach is what I aim for and I think Tug in this style is a new thing for most people. I'm glad it agrees with you. ^^
And wide bears are excellent, I second that. :D
