This was fun to make because it was really entertaining looking back at my old art. So many old friends.. some have been there with me through a LOT of it!! even before FA! (*cough*
*cough*)
I started using MS paint when I was 9 or 10, but those were adorable typical drawings of suns and flowers with smiley faces so I figure I'd spare you guys. I first joined furcadia when I was 13 and then realized that there totally was a huge group of OTHER people who draw animal-people! So I used MS paint to draw even more disgusting furries.
Note that between 14-18 I spent most of my art-time drawing furcadia ports so there's a lot of unseen progress.
And uh.. yeah :D now I'm here. If you keep drawing relentlessly you can improve no matter how discouraged at times you can get. Surround yourself with good friends and draw what YOU love drawing.
Also I am so happy that I didn't slip into the anime art path... I SEE THOSE EYES I USED TO DRAW. IT WAS A VERY REAL THREAT.

*sigh* It's been a LOT longer than the timeline shown since I've even tried to draw. Never interested me when Ii was young.
...truth be told, I don't WANT to spend time drawing now... i just wish I could. So, that's the voice of the lazy speaking.

Oh wow... This really hit home for me. I used to draw a lot when I was little, it was my get away from life at the time. Do to life events and people generally laughing at my stuff I stopped drawing. It was when I was around 13 - 14 in all when I just quit it all together. I've honestly regretted it. Seeing this is just eye opening.
I'm sorry to get all dramatical, but how did you push through all the ridicule and what not? Do you have any tips on how to keep going even when you get angry with yourself? I've been wanting to start again, but that is one of the main reasons why I just stop.

its easy to get frustrated but you just gotta get over it and keep drawing anyway, not every picture is going to be your "best ever yet" but you'll always learn from each and every image you produce. I had gotten a lot of ridicule and hate for a while back on furcadia and it took a toll on me. but eventually i learned to ignore it and had lots of supporting friends and fans and now i am very confident (although quite humble) about my art! you should start again.
