Pearl the Moray Eel was a Mobian character I designed in 1995, before she was a Sonic character, it was a Megaman-style reploid known as Torpedo Eelmora. And it looked vastly different.

Pearl and her partners originate from Atlantis, with Pearl operating the Moai-headed Moaian Forces of stone soldiers on the continent of Mu. That conch drill allows her to maintain her speed and powers underwater.
