Simple sketch for a Type Omega-minus entity, the Progenitor Race,
(known to themselves as the Energia Principia)

Once much more simple transgenic biological creatures,
the progenitors evolved rapidly under the guidance of powerful A.I. entities
where they reached their current physical state as tangible energy logic-fields bound
into a vaguely anthropomorphic, fractal frame.

They 'believe' that they are meant to interpret the true nature of the physical universe as much as
possible, and that there are inherent beautiful forms and concepts that enlighten their existence,
such as fractals, archival of knowledge, efficiency in computation, preservation of sentience, etc.

Each limb, hair, and horn are fractal divisions that divide to the atomic level, becoming a faint glow that surrounds individual Progenitors. The red rings are optical distortions as a result of their environment sensors, essentially their eyes and ears, and dark matter omnitrodes.

The most formidable Progenitor forms are their vessels, vast energy matrices
that tap into the fabric of spacetime, or as the progenitors understand, the planck-fluid environment.
They are not really seen by many spacefaring species, as an encounter lasts for roughly 1 nanosecond before they dissipate back into their preferred energy state.

However they have been reported more apparent around their ancient homeworld planets, long
abandoned during the Progenitor's efforts to acquire new resources and energy sources.
