NAME: Babaaliah
TITLE: The Aspect of Sin
SPECIES: minor Demonic lord

HISTORY: Like Merishka, Babaaliah's ascension to Aspect was not by willing choice. But unlike Merishka, Babaaliah was quick to learn that there were advantages to living in Stormhold that did not exist in Hell. Basically, she learned that mortals were fun to play with, being almost ridiculously easy to manipulate and coerce. There are many that say that there is no greater expert in sinful ways than Saetan, but they would be wrong. Babaaliah has him outstripped on many fronts.


PERSONALITY: Completely self-obsessed, Babaaliah is not happy unless she is bringing out the worst in someone. She is in fact quite useless to the other Aspects in the rare circumstances that a debate or decision needs to be made, because she is far too busy having what she considers fun to bother. Face to face she is flirty, with a silky voice and a constant desire to show off her very curvy body. Not even the most devout priest can withstand her temptations for long. She can make anyone almost instantly forget that she is a demon. Blind to her hooved feet, her canine face, her horns and fur, she makes a game out of seducing anyone and everyone. She is also the Aspect to be most wary of, because she has tricked unfortunate souls into signing more Devil's Contracts than any other. Too many to count have found themselves sentenced to the fire upon their deaths because they dropped their guard around her, and did things they would forever regret.

Babaaliah has a love/hate relationship with Sheogorath. Sometimes they work together seamlessly, and at other times they interfere with each others plans so badly that their victims manage to escape. The others keep her at a distance, as she won't hesitate to try to manipulate even her fellow Aspects. But she is, strangely enough, the Aspect with the least amount of blood on her hands. She does not know anger or vengeance, only pleasure. And she never strikes down her "toys". They bring their dooms entirely upon themselves. Her influence simply starts them down their destructive paths.


POWERS: The duty of the Aspects is to guard the denizens of Stormhold in life, keeping them from wandering into the hands of other demons. It is Babaaliah's duty to find the souls in danger of wavering and making absolutely sure that Hell is their only fate once they die. Her power to seduce a soul into sin is boundless, though she prefers carnal pleasures the most. No part of her upper body has ever known anything similar to modesty. But she doesn't stop at the wavering souls. She snares every person who crosses her path, and that is something Saetan has no problems with. Her power is nothing specific; it is more the skill of experience and an endless amount of confidence and self-vanity. For a demon, Babaaliah is sexy. And she flaunts it every chance she gets.


ARTIST'S COMMENTS: For the longest time, Babaaliah had no design. She was the one I was entirely undecided on when I started drawing this series. So she was the last one drawn, and to be honest, I almost forgot about her. I only remembered I still had to draw her when I was putting the intro together, and I realized at the last minute that I had only twelve portraits done instead of thirteen. But for being a last minute idea, I like how she turned out. I'll probably rework how her tail looks in future versions, but apart from that she turned out fairly well.
