I really hate to point this out... But the arrow is on the wrong side... Sport archers fire from that side of the bow cuz they can aim with one eye closed while standing still... a hunter fires from the other side so they can draw and fire in one motion... That aside I really like this picture :3
From what I can tell, the character is simply shooting left handed. I shoot left handed on the bow and that's how I shoot a traditional bow. As long as the colored fin is pointing towards the supporting hand, the arrow should fly straight.
I could have just been shooting it wrong all my life though, hahaha. ^^;

Shooting a traditional bow this way is absolutely fine in any situation, this picture isn't at fault here, at least not from that aspect. Two-eyed aiming is possible (and very much encouraged) like this, and draw length and force conveyed matters much more than rapid firing, especially when hunting. Exceptions are primitive low-tension venom-based bows, but that isn't the case here.
There has been the vid with that guy reinventing archery with his acrobatic stuff floating about recently, and I really consider him an amazing performance artist, but shooting a 20 pound bow without a full draw isn't something you do aside from that sport - same as it is with olympic bows or competition level martial arts. Traditional archery has the arrow running on the side of the arm holding the bow, it's been that way for a millenium, it works very well.
On topic with the pic itself - I love the fluid motions while still keeping a very nice posture, really dynamic while not too far fetched.
The parts I'd change - I feel sorry for her drawing hand's finger, at least two or three fingers should be used. The arrow's front part should ride a tad higher on the hand, closer to the bow itself, almost touching it. I personally don't see the point in the extended finger stuff, but some people seem to like it. But most importantly, a good arrow has feathers on the end :3
Lovely pic, and yes archery in furry art is my pet peeve.
