I am happy to present one of my long awaited projects, Dexter! In a lovely 3/4th styled costume! This project was one hellish first attempt! I've never done digigrade legs and the asymmetric markings were a blessing and curse.
This is one of my first larger costumes that /doesnt/ have sock paws! I am in love *swoons*. I remember making my first pair of feet paws with a shoe base and I'm so happy to be making them again! The digigrade pants have belt loops to hold the tail and keep the pants up and the padding is held securely in pockets so they can be removed for easy washing. The mask also has air vents in the ears to help with air circulation and heat. This is also one of my first masks to have glowing eyes! My client wasn't a huge fan of super bright LED's so we tried for something more subtle and gosh it looks so lovely in person. I'm sick at the moment so my brain is a bit scattered and I'm just so so happy to finally be submitting this so let me make this easier and list out the specs for ya.

-Chin guard to hide you're sweet face

AHHHHHHH! I got so excited when I saw the submission I nearly fell out of my chair.
I can't even... I just can't. This is like some legendary museum quality stuff going down right here. I can't even think of a proper way to put it into words.
Really wonderful job, I've been waiting to see this for a while, and I can't say enough just how fantastic your work is. Really inspiring stuff.

So yea, as you said it's pretty embarrassing how long this took. I can let you know how long if you really want to know. ;P
I do understand though that a huge amount of that was because of personal situations out of your control, so it is understandable, even though I'll never know really what you were going through.
HOWEVER, even in all that time I haven't come across a single other crafter that I would have wanted to give this project to and honestly he's come out fantastically. Though, you already know how much I completely adore him from all our back and forth emails and such.
I hope the bad voodoo he's brought you has gone now and you can get right on to finishing your queue! I imagine anyone else left on there will be incredibly stoked after seeing what a great job you did here.
After that, I wish you all the best in your new path. It'll be a real shame to see you go but I know you and your work are going to be remembered for years.

To make a list of the events would be somewhat heart breaking for me heh, I will say though! All of this... That I never wanted to happen has taught me soooo much about myself and has changed me dramatically as an individual. I most definitely know my limits for all sorts of things in life and I know now where I really want to go and what I want to make of my crafting career. The best though... Is learning what not to do, at any cost! I regret not becoming closer to other fursuit makers who could have helped advise me to avoid that kind of situation. Regardless! I am still so so happy with this suit!! I so badly want to keep him and wear him about. I forgot what it felt like when I made my first suit and just wanted to strut my stuff everywhere haha. I hope you have a lot of fun with him!

haha most definitely >.< your suits are AT LEAST as good if not significantly better than those main stream I am seeing sold for insane amounts (not suggesting it as a career as crafts and backs dont go together I am sure >.< and you have to get in the mainstream kind of ring) however, no, I'm totally serious your quality is insane your suits look badass and if you get famous invite me to your parties plz ^^ and come to FC!
Hehe, I usually chose to avoid generic tutorials and just go ham at it and do what I feel is right so it helps! I've been drawing these types of things since I was 11 so I just kinda let my style flow through from my drawings to my crafts!

I love all your suits so much, i thought i knew where i wanted to get mine from until i saw your partials, and after seeing this, i absolutely refuse to get mine from anywhere else. I'm awaiting the day you open for commissions again if it ever comes, you're too amazing

Hey, just wanted to say how much I admire this costume! I saw him around at Midwest Furfest this year, and every time I did my jaw just dropped open!
Like it's one thing to always see pictures of your work, but seeing them up close and in person is something else. If I may ask (and it's really not any of my business, I'm only curios from one crafter to another), do you have any plans to make costumes at all in the future? Or are you going to stick with the goods you make now?
