These guys are a closed species that ive been tinkering around and I thought I'd put them out there to see if anyone would be interested in owning / v \ plus give me a chance to get my feet wet in the adoptables game while earning some scratch for con season this year. Okie~ here we go.

Tawhni[Tah-knee] are hybrid based creatures showing traits of Unicorn and Owl [both Tytonidae(Barn)/ Strigidae(True)]. A trickster race with a very mischievous,curious nature with a knack for magic and thirst for knowledge.

Basic info:
-Very witty, Loves to play pranks on unsuspecting persons
-Most active at dusk/ dawn or night hours
-spends the daytime in a quiet inconspicuous roost;Typically roost singly or in pairs, however some tend to formed flocks(parliaments). Very territorial
-Very expressive body languages as well as having a wide range of vocalizations i.e.(Hoots,whistles,screeches,purrs,snorts,chitters and hisses)
-Love courting and to be courted

Extra:
-Diet: Meats/invertebrates
-Fast learners
-When choosing a mate they trade feathers from their fledgling wings (The smaller ones)
-They a very curious and enjoy pocketing trinkets to decorate either themselves or their Roosts.
-If you can outwit a Tawhni, they are bound by an honor system to those that bested them. However they do often demand their new masters assist with their personal studies.
