To answer that question, No, I do not take requests....and even if I did, I wouldn't do a request for you whoever you are. I do commissions to pay for bills, rent and gas. Its the only job I can do because of health issues. You can either respect that or GTFO.

I had someone the other day ask me to do "fanart" of a character in the canon style (not a style I draw in) and when I directed them to my commission prices, they responded by belittling commission artists and saying it was a waste of money and how they only wanted a "natural artist" who liked drawing just for drawings sake to do his request. >___>

not to be rude here but I understand the commission stuff but the.."I do commissions to pay for bills, rent and gas. Its the only job I can do" now were have we herd that one befour? its been use a lot from arties 100 times whin they are begging for money instead of doing it for fun or the heck of it! now im not this person who did that comment but my advice here is whin your having an "art block" or "bored" offer some request every now and thin or at less do it for close friends if not thin....GET A JOB or GTFO!
My mate works, I stay at home and watch the kid, alright. As far as money goes towards to help out, I do art commissions is the only way I can make money due to a back injury I sustained at my last job and it makes it hard for me to stand or sit for very long periods of time. I HAD a job, I used to work for a paycheck for the past 10 years. So think about WHY someone cant work before you tell them to get a damn job.
sorry about what I said and I sorry to hear about your back, I not mean or anything here but it just bugs me reading the same thing I read from other arties like they are over doing thare commissions or getting tired out or missing the point about art I understand you get paid for doing art and all that but do it for fun and enjoy yourself and let your mind grow that's what being a furry is all about whin I do an request with an arties I make sure they are having fun insted of getting tired out. I not a bad guy or in this case in this website "the big bad wolf" whin its comes to request like this dum guy who did that comment im just helping you out that's all
Im sorry too for the snap back. I am kinda tired of belittled about what I am doing. Yes, there are those who have done what you had said....kinda makes a bad name for artists like me, who are injured/disabled in a way where we cant do a 'honest day's work' like the rest of the world expects us to do.
I MAY return doing requests one day, or I may have a rare moment of needing a few guinea pigs for a style of art I want to try out, but right now, its all business :)
