I drew this in 2013 as a companion to an article in Baroque Horse Magazine (Issue 11) detailing how I go about my pencil portraits. Django is a gorgeous Aussie friesian stallion who competes in dressage and I was thrilled to be granted permission to use him as my subject for the article.
