Before I left San Diego, I had a chance to pick up this very expensive video projection system. It was made to project images from a computer. Supposedly, this projector retailed for over a grand. When I made the purchase as a swap meet, the seller insisted that it all worked except that the light bulb had burned out.

I would have brought it down at some point...except the price of that bulb was a real noodle scratcher. I seem to remember something like in the $700 range. I also recall e-bay listing a non-HP version for around $200. Still, never had a reason to try it for the price of admission.
