I finally got around to finishing up a pencil sketch of my Valgen dragons and what I plan for them to look like fursuit wise. I tried to minic the posture I always did when I had my old Diamond suit.
This one features Bolin who belongs to
windrunner
What makes a Valgen dragon unique
Have retractable claws
Long fluffy ears
Short face muzzles (Males valgens have longer ones)
3 toes with the middle toe being the bigger one
Can have feather or bat style wings
Long tail with a fluffy tuft at the end
Can have horns or antlers or none if you choose
No spikes on its back or tail
Slit or round pupils
Forked or rounded tongues
Always has digitigrade legs

While my personal feelings on closed species like this are often in the minority... be warned with the fans of angel dragons. My sona is a malagon (malamute dragon mix) and looks kinda like one but only in the aspects of being a fluffy dragon with feather wings...and I have had a few nasty notes before.

Okay, I'm pretty new to the furry fandom, and I can pretty much determine an Angel Dragon from other dragon species... -_- Your dragon fursona looks NOTHING like an Angel Dragon! How can people mistake you for one?! I've honestly seen other dragon species that look kinda similar to the angel dragons (but have slight differences, of course.) and yours does not look like one.
if you look at how long telephone got this new suit compaired to the valgen dragon the valgen is way older. the old AD suit of Deanna doesnt look like the valgen at all, the new suit of her looks a lot like the valgen dragon, but that like 3 years after you made them :P so any AD's fan who will say you ripped of can kiss your valgen furry butt :Pi love this design :)
It's stupid that alot of angel dragon fans will draw angel dragons the way Valgens look and not the way that angel dragons are supposed to look. I love both angel dragons and Valgen dragons ^^ and i think people should know the differences cause there are alot. It's too bad that alot of those people only see the popularity and not the real species both of these can bring. It's confusing just like wolves, coyotes and foxes are confusing. They look alike but are not alike at all. Same goes for valgens and AD's and people should learn they are not at all the same and learn the differences.
Your Valgen dragons are so cute! I almost bought your old Diamond fursuit but then I lost my job unexpectedly so I had to pass on it. I was unemployed for only a month but by then the fursuit had sold :( I have always liked the cute little wings, big ears, big fluffy tail, slit pupil eyes and short muzzle with that cute rounded face of your Valgen dragons. Hopefully one day I can afford to have a Valgen fursuit made by you but for now I must keep an eye out for a used one :)

Also i feel you on the "AD rip off comments" Its like no one can make fluffy dragons anymore without getting that kind of comment. I get it all the time with Smoke's dragon form cause he's a floofy looking space dragon and his fursuit is made in a toony.
I think people seem to forget that AD are supposed to resemble horses and are "chibified" in suit.

This is a very cute and wonderful species, and I wish I had known about it long before all this AD and DAD crap was spewed all over the fandom. I always tried to encourage people to try and expand into other possibilities and create more bizarre and original designs. Hell, this is what I eventually did with my AD, completely separating it from the Dutch Angel Dragons completely http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15450915/ . Dutch Angel Dragons are the official full name to Ino89777's species. Angel dragons were just the abbreviated name for them, but is not the actual species name. Meaning that anything under the name AD and not DAD is not required to follow the strict code that she has made.
Want to make sure I follow everything before I upload I decided to change my mates dad to your species, so I could keep his original design. Anyways heres the picture.
