Eventually a soft violet glow began to light the space she occupied. It didn't help reveal much more than a half-dozen feet, but it was better than nothing. Lux reached out in front of and around herself, hoping to brush against a wall or hidden door with one of her hands as she moved forward. It was no use. Wherever she was, it seemed to have no end no matter how far she walked. Lux's mind began to entertain the idea that she had fallen into a trap set by Malzahar, the prospect of being stuck in this place for eternity frightened her greatly. The violet light from when she had first arrived became more prominent and bright. Was she close to the source of the light itself? A quick scan of the horizontal told nothing of worth, she focused her eyes upward next and immediately grabbed herself to keep from screaming. The source of the illumination was now obvious. The jewel atop Lux's forehead glowed vibrantly to match her eyes.
