Say hello to Novozz!
Novozz is my monster character I designed when I began drawing around December last year. If you want to see it, CLICK HERE!
ViciousTyrant really liked the design and decided to draw him for me, with some ideas of his own. I think it looks great! It really makes it feel more “magic” compared to my crappy drawing.
So what is Novozz exactly? Prepeare to see "magic" being used here a lot!
It is creature made of pure magic, that got created during failed experiment of certain group of Mages. Being made of magic it can absorb any magic attack/spells making Novozz stronger and bigger. In addition to that, it’s touch prevents any magic from being cast, depending on how long the contact was.
Novozz is eternally hungry and feeds on life force of it’s victims, literally sucking them dry. However it greatly prefers life force of magic users (satisfies hunger, makes Novozz stronger and I guess it tastes better? <:) so during fight it will always try to target magic users first. When desperate though it will go for anyone.
While Novozz is a creature made out of magic, it only knows how to fight with it’s brute strength and high speed. While hunting for prey it is rather careful and quiet but once he decides to go in, it will detroy anything in it's path to get the prey. Technically the only magic it knows is the life drain, but who knows! Our animals/pets learn a lot of weird things, one day Novozz might be able to learn how to use magic to his benefit.
Depending on situation it might be very hard to get rid of it. Mages in particular stand almost no chance on their own, especially those relying too much on their magic. Normal weaponry will not affect him much either. “Ripping off” his magic body seems to be only way to defeat it (cutting it off, explosions etc). Imagine his body being a "hard jello", I seriously have no better way to describe it haha. However Novozz can’t truly die though. If it manages to retreat and hide, it will slowly regenerate although that process will take days or even weeks depending on damage caused.
