Just a picture I wanted to share with a few words.
This is the view from my backyard porch. I am currently sitting there in what I have dubbed my 'retirement rocker'; a rocking chair rescued from someone's trash pile and fixed up during the course of making the Little Airplane.
I am listening to a very peaceful piece of music by
onic If you haven't listened to him, you should take a look at his gallery. This is the composition I am listening to: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15715902/
Life will always be stressful. That's just the way it is. Taking a moment to yourself is important. Call it navigation, but you need to fix your sextant upon the solid things in your life that are not going to go away. These are your lighthouses and navigational markers. Triangulate on those and then mark your course.
I am not a font of knowledge and wisdom. I am as confused and scared as anyone else in this world. Through experience I am a bit more adept at predicting what 'might' happen but in my own life I am as apprehensive as anyone else.
A quiet moment of reflection, while not undoing this apprehension, does help... as does the love of friends.
It is important that you not let the world (as others have painted it) win.
Reach out to each other in love.
Avoid the negative.
Do something that is positive.
Find an old rocker to rebuild and then put it in a place where you can find a small bit of peace... and perhaps sit with a pretend friend from your childhood. They, above everyone else, will understand you.

onic's music definitely makes a great soundtrack for this kind of view. Looks great!
There is something missing I say! Yes in deed there is something very very wrong with this photo. There should be a float plane sitting at the waters edge so you can go flying on those evenings where everything is just right if for no other reason than to enjoy the sunset just a little longer with someone you love.
Lovely setting to call home and enjoy a moment in time and space.

I grew up in Florida and my mom's parents had a small house next to a large pond. This looks a lot like their place and it brings back lots of great memories. I envy you the scenery and the peace it brings you.
I also agree completely with everything you've said, except one. You, my favorite fennec, are quite wise. Over the years you have shown that wisdom in a wide variety of ways. Taken all together, they give the impression of one who understands much of the world. I have no doubt that others would agree with me.
*warm hugs on a rainy night*
