
A falcon of subtropical South America, the Yellow-Headed Caracara that resorts to scavenging due to its slow flight skills. It’s fond of ticks upon cattle, wearing it the nickname, ‘tick bird’. They have adapted well to urban life, often seen in places like Panama City.
