So I went and I saw new places and met people and did my very best to see positive omens in every little thing. I pretended I was being inspired toward greatness and that this was the point when everything would turn around. But when I got the time to sit down with pen and paper in the midst of it all, nothing would come of it, except for this.

Is it just me, or are you drawing this character with less of the purplish hair-type-stuff lately?
Also... the subject, and really the use of the words for wings and the words used for the wings and so much about how it's done... gah. Brilliant idea, and well-executed.
