I and Tikara, another user, decided to do a trade, drawing a pic for each others.
Since I got a rush of inspiration, I drawn many pics and this is the last, official one.
Anyway... this is Tikara, the avatar of an user of the same name. For the fun for it, I added some background to her (with permission from the original user).
It is a fact that in each world, there can be only one embodiment of Light at a time and thus, only one Mew. Yet, in an alternate dimension, when Mew died and was reborn, two Mews were born rather than one. In order to prevent a paradox from happening, a Soulstone, a powerful demonic artifact, was plunged into the skull and through the brain of one of the two Mews. The magical gem suck life force and spiritual energy out of her and through its position, piercing through a part of her brain, caused an indirect partial lobotomy.
Although this might sound horrible in theory, the gem removes the part of the Mew that made her a Mew, suppressing the immortal spirit and powers and leaving only the mortal will. The damage to the brain, far from making her retarded, simply reduced her to a psychic power and intelligence level more akin to an ordinary being. The gem also circumvent her immortality, its power growing over time and making her age artificially, thus fully making her into a mortal Mew.
Stripped of her immortal will, the Mew's mortal spirit could grow allowing her to become her own being: Tikara. To complete the separation from her original nature as Mew, her once light pink fur was tainted purple by the gem's power thus giving her her new, unique appearance.
If the Soulstone was to be removed, Tikara's powers as Mew would return and her mortal will, overwhelmed by the will of Light, thus transforming her into the new incarnation of Mew. Should Mew someday die, Tikara will have the choice between remaining mortal and waiting for the next Mew to be born or forfeit her life as Tikara to assume the position that is rightfully hers.
Until then... Tikara enjoy life in her world.
That's the background I cooked up for her, pretty much. As for random notes... I learnt that purple and grey does not mix ; either I'll have to recolor the lines or I'll have to leave them black and white. As for random notes, it might not be too noticeable but Tikara is meant to be slightly taller and thinner than Mew.
Enjoy!
NOTE: The preview mini-pic is a gift from Tikara. Thanks!

No, those are not christmas lights. This is actually a play on a theme used in earlier pics, where Mew is shown to be able to produce a halo and pairs of wings made of pure light energy giving her an angelic appearance.
As Tikara has the Soulstone slammed into her body, that part of her is supressed and thus the halo come out broken and the wings, small, deformed, and of many half-faded colors.
