I know it's a bit late for Saint Valentine's day, but I like to think there's still some romance in the air. Here my friend's Fox scout character Misha finds himself with his Otter lady love Caroline and as they watch the moon rise they decide to share a kiss.

Very cute!
An otter with whiskers
is not good to pet.
And an otter which whispers
is worse even yet.
When an otter lisps whispers
through tough rough wet whiskers,
your poor boyfriend's ear
will get blispers and bliskers.
- Adapted from Dr Seuss (Although he was talking about walrus)

I was reading your prose passage here and thinking to myself, "this seems so familiar." The second I read "Dr. Seuss" I then recognized the "Walrus" poem. Oh that is so very clever. As I took my daily walk I started thinking of your adaptation of the poem and re-writing it about a Fox and Otter falling in love.
I kind of saw the setting in my head as a scene shortly after a day's Festival at the Castle, and everything is winding down for the night. Misha and Lady Caroline have spent the day dressed in their finery, and decide to show their affection to one another while watching the moonrise over the lake. I really wish I had the technical know-how to draw the image I saw of the Otter and Fox's muzzle whiskers all tangled up and stretching their flews out, but I thought that might spoil the romantic mood. I'm glad you both enjoyed the cartoon though.
It's a great pic. Mind if I post it on the MK archive? http://metamorkeep.com/
