[i]Kessa had already risen to promience on Stentaria when she was arrested on a variety of charges regarding her work for Tolsten Aero Corps, which had been embargoed by the LUC for its aggressive expansion, unethical research practices and sponsoring of pirates that have been raiding Cartenian shipping lanes. She was also questioned regarding her role on Syphonia to determine if she intended to use the Xyphoid Process for use as a weapon of mass destruction, but strong media coverage and public support lead to the faltering justice system to drop that line of questioning.[/i}

Whilst Kessa was out on bail, eight months after she had returned to Stentaria, Marshal Paraad carried out his coup to oust the United Front's new government from power. The coup failed to seize the planetary capital, but numerous provincal captials and bases were seized, splitting the Stentarian military and ending unified rule of Stentaria. Kessa immdiately joined the United Air Force and was appointed Squadron Captain due to her previous experience at Tolsten and her efforts during the Syphonian Crisis...

I decided to finally complete this piece and get it submitted. Wasn't quite sure what I set out to achieve with the shading and highlights, but felt good to at least get something done.
