Took this photograph near the end of my snow hike this evening. My flash was on and I seem to have captured some eddies in the fog and snow.
I have not altered this photograph - not even the levels have been adjusted. Well, I resized it, of course, but that's all.

Your comment actually reminded me that I had built a small, circular, snow pyramid to Ehecatl-Quetzalcoatl (feathered-serpent wind deity) earlier in the day on the hill in the background of the photo. So perhaps it's a mist feathered serpent. (I'm not actually Pagan - just experimenting with little rituals.)
Also, behind the two trees on the right are some boulders that overlook the creek below (snowed over in the photo) which is my perch, basically. So that area feels rather dragony to me. (I am actually a dragon, of course.)

*nods* I see the mist hanging low and undulating with the wind currents over the snowy fields here, and they always remind me of serpentine-style dragons. Sorta like this (see my comment there too): http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15589499/ :)
That's really pretty! Alas, we don't get too much snow here so don't have the chance to see them often. And it was too dark to see them without the flash - it was something of a lucky accident! Well, when I first saw the mist when my flash fired, I took several more on purpose and this was one of those. But I usually have my flash turned off so that part was an accident. (Also took photos with longer exposures rather than flash but no mist dragons showed up in those.)
