General Nyxis Pierce and her army slew thousands of people, soldiers and innocents alike, to win a war that would secure Princess Eflasia as ruler of several combined kingdoms. Going through with the slaughters broke Nyxis's heart, but her intentions were good. She and her best friend would change the world, no matter what it took. Under Eflasia's rule, nobody would have to suffer anymore. God would understand.
And now that it is time to face Judgement, does she go to Heaven or Hell?

Driprat in exchange for The Screaming Barrel banner. David did the pencils and inks, and I did the colors.
Well, elaboration: I learned from my last stained glass piece that setting characters in front of stained glass with more than just one or two colors would be REALLY tricky, so I spent three days on the colors, and probably double that researching if a multi-colored stained glass panel plus a character in front was even POSSIBLE. X'D SUCCESS FEELS GREAT.
And David is a pleasure to work with; AAAAH, it is TOO big of an honor to have made a piece with the creator of (the mature-rated) Jack! He's a super cool guy with incredible takes on religious themes and morality( And after I described Nyxis to him, I'm guessing by the way he titled this piece he's decided on where she would go in the Jack Universe afterlife ;) ), go check him out!

Fontis doesn't have a national religion, but the people do have several religions based off ones in our world, with Christianity having a strong foothold in many of the larger kingdoms like Fontis. (There are thus, also many chaplains trying to solicit Kade and Eflasia because if you can convert a ruler, you can convert a nation.)
The intro here was written with Nyxis's point of view in mind. She does not think much about religion until push comes to shove in the war; then, she picks up a little more on a connection to God as another reason to justify the killings. Things under Eflasia indeed would (and do become) better, and that's mentioned close to the end of Blindside. =)

Well ACTUALLY, I had to wipe my computer recently, so all the sparkle brushes you have seen this year are hand-made for each piece and copy-pasted as makeshift brushes, lol!
When I'm un-lazy and actually want to download them, I actually get most of my brushes from my friend Kabocha on DA: http://kabocha.deviantart.com/galle...../69714/Brushes
Her TOS for using them is wonderful as well, as we think on the same lines of "You really want these sparkles for fun, so here you go!"
