C-23
The C-23 Sherpa, your not likely to ever actually see these unless you hang around the right middle of nowhere airports. I didn't even know they existed until a few showed up at our airport for practice approaches. Anyway saw this guy yesterday and got a few pics while I was preflighting. I also got radar vectored way off course so this guy could do a tactical descent.

When I was stationed in England we had one of the longest flightlines in Europe, built for 1950's era jet strategic bombers. But at the time I was there it was then being used as a ground launched cruise missile base. The only plane to land and take off daily was one of these guys delivering the mail. I always thought that was kind of ironic.
God! I rode one of those for thirteen hours from Oceana to Key West. We had to wait while they found a tail jack cause if you step into it from the back and it doesn't have a tail jack the plane will pop a wheelie. then the whole flight you couldn't move because any shift in weight would cause the plane to roll and yaw in which ever direction you moved.
