my only grudge on movie's makers - Brad Pitt's presence lately became a spoiler: you expect his character to die..

Other than Shia Lebeof I think the movie is pretty swell I really do like how they made the American tanks just look badass with the coloring and the things on it

This movie was a bit more than I expected, as I've grown up around older war films like "Patton", "The Longest Day", and "Tora Tora Tora." It was an okay movie in my opinion. Not bad.

Very nice depiction of the tank, though.

it somewhat resembles our movie "Tank Klim Voroshilov" about Babushkin's KV-1. Similar situation: no radio, low on ammo, immobile and uncounted opposition.

story with Kv-2 (my bad, first I said it was Kv-1) occured in abit different situation - they got stuck and broke engine of already damaged, but restored tank, while trying to cross river and reunate with rest of forces. Their opposition was brigade of Pz-III and Pz-III/IV, which actually were completely undergunned compared to heavy tank - they couldn't penetrate its frontal armor and tank itself appeared to be "hulled down" at river bank. Movie was based on Zolotuhin's novel, where it ended with crew destroying their tank. In real battle tank got badly pounded by artilery though part of crew escaped. Commander went through war till 1945.

not sure what you mean.. if camo, that be strange..76mm E8s never were in land lease supply. SO called "Emcha-76" were actually normal M4A2 or M4A3 converted for USSR 76mm gun <.<

gamma is rust and paint that is close to falling off. like most russian t80 in ukraine and syria.

you mean the tiger haha. that tank looks nothing like the german tiger. the director should have waited until they were finished with the tank.

well, they didn't had working tanks.. mostly were using disquised tractors or universal carriers.

JP E100 never existed in reality, Jagdtigers (which had quantity about 90-100 ), Bomburs, and most of Tiger Is were _actually_ evacuated from USSR territory except ones left out of reach on engineering forces or wereABSOLUTELY totalled. That fully functional one is actually restored from newly made parts and restored part prototype, which was _stolen_ from germans before those tanks went into service.

We have dozens of PzIV, Pz II, halftracks, etc. Also both Mauses. In fact most of captured vehicles were destroyed,\recycled, unless they were lost to river or swamp. Fashion of creating working replicas started in 90s only. In movies soviets used disquised T-44 (for Panthers) or tractors and converted Su100s (to imitate PzIV or Tiger)

You mean the 1:1 model they ordered but it never was used? They misjudged cost. Well, subcontractor raised cost, so instead they had to use disquised ATV or something

Well, since it's a fictional ghost tank anyway, the details don't need to be perfect.
