I've decided to try my hand at some shading and seeing what I can do with that. So I gave a quick test run on this Pinkie drawing I did recently. So if I can get some opinions on how this looks that would be much appreciated. It's not the most meticulous, but I just wanted to get a quick idea of how it would look.

Very nice, gives her a more 3D effect certainly. Though keep in mind I'm not an artist and have little knowledge beyond the basics.
Also i notice some grey dots around. One under her left hoof, one at the bottom of the image next to a fold almost directly under her left eye, one barely visible under her 4th chin, and a few more in the cloud around the pastries.
Really nice stuff though. Very lovely. ^_^

Yeah. Those grey dots are from my palm brushing against my tablet as I draw. I just keep forgetting to remove them from this, but thankfully I've solved that issue so in the future when I do full line art like this that doesn't happen. Sketches that's not usually the case, just how I use my tablet settings. But glad you like it! The more I look at it the more I like it so I'm hoping to hone the technique I used and see how it goes.
