I think I had more fun with this one than I was supposed to.

Kagiana Darkwing once knew nothing of her past, she was good and lighthearted, neutral to the war that surrounded her, her weapon of choice was the bow and arrow. (heh, go figure...)
the battle between light and dark was halted one day as Sylver Darkwing rose from the shadows and threatened to take the land as her own. Kagiana steeled herself to the battle to rid the land of Sylver, she fought with her arrows and magic, she fought for everything she believed to be right.

Untill that fateful day at the caves, when they met.
Sylver returned Kagianas memories to her, a child burning down a village of humans, the child laughing amongst the flames was none other than herself. She was laughing at the destruction of those who had killed her kin, mother, father, fellow hatchlings. It had been Sylver to save her from the same fate.

Sylver bestowed the gift of the shadows to her foster daughter, the darkness seeping through her and streaking her once pure pearlesent hair with black, an eternal reminder of who she really was.

for a time, Kagiana went insane with power and rage. Going so far as to kill the man she had fallen in love with. how could she have fallen for one of those who had murdered her family?

It was those who she had forged a friendship with before the shadows had claimed her who reminded her that it was not her bloodline who determined who she was. only she could decide that.

torn now, between two sides she learned of a plot to seal Sylver away. And resolved to help them. She became the keeper of the Mirror that caged Sylvers relentless soul, which was not at all easy to capture, she now wanders the lands, ever protecting her dear mother, hoping she does not find a way to free herself, but unable to bring herself to destroy her or leave the Mirror somewhere where no one will ever find it...
