The pangolin is a wonderful creature that very much resembles a long-tailed walking pine cone. It looks a bit like an armadillo someone tried to reverse-engineer without an actual picture of one; they even have the large claws and rolling-into-a-ball behavior. They're insectivores, having no teeth but eating ants and other bugs with their long tongues. You can find a lot of good pictures on Google Image Search if you're still curious!
