Since my latest 'sweeps month' (February, 2015) is now in its final week, I'd like to try to present a plethora of additional images from my "Rowrbrazzle's 20th Anniversary Artist Jam" (a project I had published in 2004). Hopefully, I'll attempt to post two of them per day...
Continuing on Page Three, I have a thoroughly wonderful submission by talented guest artist Lela Dowling...
Best known for her incredible "Dragon" and "Unicorn" portfolios, as well as her comic art for such (Eclipse) titles as "Fusion" and "The Dreamery", Lela was gracious enough to provide a contribution to my jam, in the form of an illustration of two characters from "Alice" (her interpretation of Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"): the 'gryphon' and the 'mock turtle'. The entire "Alice" story (from issues of "The Dreamery") was eventually transformed into a softcover graphic novel of the same name.
Lela's most recent project was "The Beastlies Alphabet", a collaboration of her artistic talents, and the writings of her mother, Dorothy Dowling.
Watch for more marvelous submissions to "Rowrbrazzle's 20th Anniversary Artist's Jam", later this week!

Every once in a while, I'd like to leave you with this friendly reminder... If anyone out there would like to consider joining "Rowrbrazzle", contact its current editor William Earl Haskell either by E-mailing forban[at]hal-pc.org or by 'snail-mailing' him at P.O. Box 890982, Houston, Texas 77289-0982. Any sample 'funny animal' artwork and/or literature you'd like to submit should be no stronger (in content) than PG-rated.
