Sketch trade with Henbe during C-ACE 2006. This year I got to have my previous contributions scanned in the dealer's room at the con printshop (and also caused a new 'service' to be added to the menu, as they hadn't thought of what to charge just to scan a pic to a thumb drive)

This time I got to follow in the grand tradition of sketches that reference the activities of other artists when they affect pages other than the one they worked on. Usually this takes the form of a bleed-thru from marker work. In this case, a previous contribution by gNAW resulted in a page tear under his pic as he erased the pencil work, leaving me an opportunity to goof on the result by having Tatiana "holding" the tear open while commenting on what must have transpired on the previous page.

Due to the content of this piece, I left in the shadow along the left and the paper edge along the right rather than attempting to clean up either one of these "features". This pic was done during the day, and as such I had time to properly clean up the inks (done with a #2 brush) and pencil-shade the figure.

I still have a 2004 contribution to post, but that will wait for another comic done the previous year to put it into context
