I drew this, but it's NOT really an original work. This is a nearly line-for-line recreation of Doug and Pauly from Circles issue #1. Originally drawn by the fabulous K-9 (Scott Fabianek) I don't really take a lot of credit for this as all of the creative work was done by Scott, I just copied what he did for the practice and to learn about his style. If you haven't read Circles, buy a copy NOW. It's what got me into this whole furry thing to begin with and K-9's work is one of my greatest inspirations and influences.
Apologies for the crappy digital photo of notepad paper, but I work with what I've got. I'm ALWAYS open to constructive criticism, so if you've got any hints or pointers, send them my way. Thanks for taking the time to check my art out!
If you are K-9 or anyone from Rabbit Valley and this somehow violates your copyrights or anything, please just let me know and I'll be glad to pull them down. Thanks!

Tracing something is a pretty neat way of learning how to draw things better.. though the best way to do it is to study the way an artist will draw certain features that you struggle with - such as the eyes... or the way the mouth works from different angles. But its really only good for making yourself better..
..not entirely sure if its cool for you to post traced sketched of other peoples artwork - even if you clearly state that its not your original works.

..and just between you and me.. I secretly stalk Mr. K-9 because he is my all time favorite artist.. I've got a few sketches in my own gallery that look very close to some poses/facial expressions in certain Circles issues.. because I used those issues for referrences.
I just adore how Mr. K-9 crafts his characters!

I'm pretty sure these don't violate Fur-Affinity's terms, but to be honest I don't know how K-9 would feel about it. If he contacts me, I'll be happy to pull them. And if it makes any difference, they're not actual traces, they were drawn free-hand, just using K-9's work as a reference.
And yes, K-9 is simply amazing.
