First time I saw a Caprice on wheels this size I was looking the driver right in the eye from my slightly raised Silverado.

No worries lol
Not trying to be a pain pointing it out, I just notice these things. One of the downfalls of proof reading for a time lol. That, and these GM convertibles of the time are among my favorite classics since my family owned a few of them when I was a kid. Grandparents had a 69 and a 75 Buick Electra. They replaced the 69 with a 77 Electra, but that was after they downsized them and doesn't count. ;) My dad had a 73 Olds Delta 88 convertible I have fond road trip memories with. I wish they had any one of these cars now

No worries I appreciate the help. And really I am more adept to the 40's through the 60's when most American cars changed something every year.
Side note I used to own a 75 Electra myself. Great car for being 26 years old when I got it and with only 73K on the odometer. Sadly when I decided to sell it a derby dog got hold of it and destroyed it.

Yeah man that's a style I've never liked. I mean I know it's all about "LOOK AT MAH HUUUGE RIMS!" but it looks really unproportional and silly. That ain't a truck.
I saw a bunch of cars like that for the first time in 2004 when visiting my mother near Tampa. That's a big thing to do down there. At first I thought people were just dropping old GM bodies on to K5 frames or something (dude down the street from me as a kid used to have a C3 corvette on a truck frame all jacked up for mud bogging) but upon closer look I realized that someone had just found a way to stick massive pieces of chrome under a perfectly good car. That ain't a truck.
