For those watching NHRA in the 90's you'll no doubt know that the Prostreet truck series was big. And an answer to NASCAR's truck series. However the series came to an end after the 2001 season mostly because of TV time constraints having five televised classes at the time. Top fuel dragster, top fuel funny car, prostreeet, prostreet truck and prostreet bikes. And having prostreet bike since 1979 the trucks were doomed to be the one to get the axe. The series included the S-10 which dominated most years, the Ford Ranger and the Dodge Dakota.
