I haven't worked in colored pencils in a while. Discovered a set of teeny ones at Kinokuniya and I had this preprinted ACEO card from back at Comic-Con, so I started drawing on it. This is the result.
I'm a big dork for going to the lengths I did making this (the hours of shading! the hand cramping!), but you'd have to know a few details about my hobbies to know why. For the rest of you, enjoy the pretty unicorn. :D

Artist Cards, editions and originals. It's a thing going around, artists make little original art cards in the size of a trading card, 2.5x3.5 inches, but they're like miniature paintings or other art things instead of baseball cards. The only thing that makes an ACEO an ACEO is that they're flat and that size.
Some people also make card-sized prints (limited editions or open editions). Some artists trade them amongst themselves, while others sell them (collectors can buy small pieces of art that are more affordable than huge canvases or whatnot).
