Since this is the last week of my latest 'sweeps month' (February, 2015), I thought that this last edition of "Throwback Thursday" should consist of two apropos 'photo-ops' of yours truly - both taken near Valentine's Day in separate years...

First, we have clean shaven version of moi, taken at the February 10, 2010 meeting of Scrabble Club 276 (at Veteran's Park) in Lauderhill, Florida. Since this meeting was held a few days before Valentine's Day, club president Sandee Bloom offered an appropriate prize for one of the club members: a reusable cloth bag with a large red heart on it, and a message below the heart that reads "I Scrabble".

The prize went to the player who (during the first two games) can come up with a word associated with the holiday (and the winning word would be determined by a 'majority rule' vote). In one of the two games, I came up with the word 'LOVE', naturally, which was a 'shoo-in'.

As usual, Sandee used her digital camera to take a picture of me with my prize - which I'm sharing with all of you right now!
