I don't know what kind of bugs these are, but they are almost certainly pests, I'm sure of it. They used to get into the house all the time, and, they sure are durable if you try to swat them, takes several tries, though I try to avoid doing that, but when they just keep going back inside over and over again after I let them out. It gets tiresome.

They are neat looking, I'll give them that though. This was the first time I've seen one on a plant and not on my windowsill. ; P
