*Eeees and smiles* Oh wow. This came out fantastic.
I absolutely love the way this plays out, and the the way you handle the descriptions from Rodent's POV, beautifully complement the action as everyone else is seeing it. You made it so easy to imagine what the rat was going through. :)
Plus, the transformations worked perfectly as the magician's last trick, having a wonderfully natural flow to it, and using the two of them (with the first being one of my all-time favorite types), enhances that whole showmanship aspect by the magician to really do something amazing for the audience. I love permanent transformations like this, and you pulled it off beautifully. <3
