It's kind of funny to follow the Mario back story. In ending after ending, she is either thanking him with words or promises of a cake and such. In some respects, she kind of seems like she'll never even let him get to first base for all the life risking effort. That is...UNTIL he comes dashing in with his upgraded furry-type gear on.
