A gift for the amazing 
zephyrue because the amount of awesomeness her orient chimera has is beyond to be able to count through my ten fingers. Zeph is such a gorgeous character, and even the fursuit it was built based on the concept is gorgeous! I love it! =)
The scene goes on with Wairu assisting Zeph with his windbending skills to help her through some fight. It's not so explicitly told here on the picture, but just so you know, Wairu is a monk, so he knows some thing about martial arts as well, and yoga phylosophy as well which is why his forehead glows violet, because he can take control of his chakras and he just opened perception to his surrpundings.
Wairu was inspired for creation while I was at yoga courses with my mother. So many awesome conclusions and sense were heard there I got inspired to creat him.

I really can't emphasize enough how extraordinarily beautiful this picture is, the flowing motions and the energy in their movement is spectacularly well executed.

each glowing has their meaning, so I used them with sane mind. =) One of my friend was making fun I didn't put enough J.J. Abrams lens flare. Oh yeah?! 5 minutes later: -There, now you happy? And she fixed it even more legitimately lens-flared. Oh-kay, you beat me to it, buddy. So she won! xP

The rendering on Wairu's scales are phenomenal, you certainly have patience!

It was more about determination. Patience was a secondary factor as it seemed to be I was patience, because the whole story I made up for them, and Fox's soundtrack made it a lot more fun to do it, and so I enjoyed doing it the most! =)
If I wasn't redrawing her 5 times, then not even once, so I had to start out from absolute zero and sometimes stand in front of a mirror to check how would it look on her rather than go blind, and one of those choices were the most fitting I could bring for them together.
I am glad you like it! It was a pleasure to do it, and I am also happy that I could create something I am pleased with its result. ^^ Namaste!
