my part of the trade.
goodness... I used watercolours, acrylic, ink, even colour pencils... the only thing missing is pastels... can't handle those. somehow I failed. the BG doesn't look right, and I had to slap tons of paint onto various areas, mostly whites, without being able to cover the blue underneath it.
but still I hope she likes it, or else I'll start anew. I hope the 'message' come sthrough... mew.

Oh god WOW. O_O
The costumes...the colors! This is absolutely beautiful! The paper turning to birds gets across so much coupled with their faces, this idea came out very grand. I'm especially fond of your painting style in the background.
Thank you so very very much! :D

ooh, I am so glad you like the result... I always feared I'd fail so miserably with it, barely knowing what to do with them colours, especially since I have never worked with acrylics before. ^^'
heh* the background is more or less an accident. I tried to redo a sundown I saw weeks before, and suddenly I didn't know what to add anymore, so I fet it in the end. :)
*bows* it was a great pleasure, and a great experience.

*purr* thank you. I thought using acrylics would be tougher, but still it's different from everything else. I think I learned a lot!
when I thought up topic and scenery, I felt a hefty lump in my throat, and tears welling up. it's a sad topic,. but as far as I can tell it fits the characters nicely.
*hugs back*
