A poem i wrote for an English assignment
Far away places
Some have, some not
Stared at the sea…
Thinking of far away places to be
Of the sights there to see
A purple tree, perhaps
Its leaves drifting on the wind before disappearing in gaps
Some leaves big, some small
But no matter what, the leaves would fall
And you might think of autumn back home
Not about that mountain that forms a dome
What creature would live inside it?
Probably weird, at least a bit
What about those in the sky?
Would there even be birds that fly?
Would they even care about far away places?
About you walking on a beach in calm paces
Because to them, you would be that creature living in a mountain dome
Far away places
Some have, some not
Stared at the sea…
Thinking of far away places to be
Of the sights there to see
A purple tree, perhaps
Its leaves drifting on the wind before disappearing in gaps
Some leaves big, some small
But no matter what, the leaves would fall
And you might think of autumn back home
Not about that mountain that forms a dome
What creature would live inside it?
Probably weird, at least a bit
What about those in the sky?
Would there even be birds that fly?
Would they even care about far away places?
About you walking on a beach in calm paces
Because to them, you would be that creature living in a mountain dome
